The order was granted following an application by the Lagos State Director of Civil Litigation, Hammed Oyenuga, who stated that all respondents in the suit had been served with court processes but had yet to respond.
The respondents include Adamma Ukpabi, Tosin Harsogba, Comrade Juwon Sanyaolu, Hassan Soweto, and the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State.
The court had previously granted an interim injunction on July 30, 2024, restricting protesters from gathering in Lagos State from August 1-10, 2024, except at the designated locations between 8 am and 6 pm.
