From blockbuster movies to page turning books, 2025 has a some great picks in store for everyone.
Fans of comic book movies are in for a treat in 2025 with Captain America: Brave New World, releasing in February, Superman, starring David Corenswet and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, both releasing in June.
Kyle Reddy, a comic book collector, said that he was looking forward to watching these new releases over the course of the year.

“I’ve watched the trailers for the movies and I am so excited. I don’t think I have looked forward to movies like this since 2019. It is not just the comic movies that have me excited; there are also horror movies that I’m looking forward to such as the last Conjuring movie and a new Insidious movie,” he said.
Sabrina Quin, said that she has set herself a goal of reading 25 books for the year. “After being in a reading slump for quite a few years, I’m interested to see how this challenge pans out.
“My [to be read] list currently consists of book series like The Folk of the Air, Caraval, The Inheritance Games and the trending A Court Of Thorns And Roses,” she said.
She added that she is also excited for new movie and music releases. “I’m quite a big fan of the Jurassic Park franchise, so I’m definitely looking forward to Jurassic World Rebirth, which is set to release in July this year.
Although the BTS boys are back from service this year, it seems their reunion is on hold until 2026. A bummer, but there’s still loads of artists which I’m looking forward to hearing this year, like Enhypen, Stray Kids, and a few growing artists like Benson Boone and Gracie Abrams
There are also a large number of games that are highly anticipated for 2025 such as Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Monster Hunter Wilds and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and Ghost of Yotei.
Avid readers can expect the third installment in Rebecca Yarros’s Empyrean novels, Onyx Storm releasing at the end January. Fans of Stephen King can expect Never Flinch, releasing in May.
