As 2025 shows up, TurnTable Charts has announced its highly anticipated Year-End Rankings, spotlighting the songs, albums, and artistes that defined Nigerian music over the past year.
The comprehensive charts, backed by streaming and airplay data, show the trends, successes, and moments that shaped the industry in 2024.
Asake: Dominating the Charts
Asake once again proved his unequalled dominance, emerging as the Overall No. 1 Artiste for the third consecutive year—a feat no other artiste has achieved.
His album ‘Lungu Boy’ shattered records, spending an unprecedented 15 weeks at No. 1 on the Official Top 100 Albums Chart.
All his previous projects, including ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe (MMWTV)’ and ‘Work of Art’, maintained top-ten positions throughout the year.
Top Song: “Twe Twe (Remix)” by Kizz Daniel & Davido
The hit single “Twe Twe (Remix)” by Kizz Daniel featuring Davido claimed the title of Overall No. 1 Song. The remix extended its dominance on the charts, spending 10 weeks at No. 1 and 22 weeks on the Official Nigeria Top 100 Chart.
Top Album: ‘Lungu Boy’ by Asake
Asake’s Lungu Boy claimed the Overall No. 1 Album, marking his third consecutive year of leading this category. The album’s massive success solidifies Asake’s place as a music powerhouse.
Category Leaders in 2024
- No. 1 Streaming Artiste: Seyi Vibez topped the streaming charts, taking over from Asake, who held the title in 2022 and 2023.
- No. 1 Streaming Song: Chike & MohBad’s “Egwu” surpassed 75 million on-demand streams in Nigeria.
- No. 1 Radio Artiste: Asake reigned supreme on the airwaves for the second year running.
- No. 1 Radio Song: “Twe Twe (Remix)” garnered 1.3 billion radio airplay impressions, making it the most-heard song on Nigerian radio.
Genre Highlights
- Afro-Pop: Kizz Daniel claimed the No. 1 Afro-Pop Artiste, while Chike’s “Egwu” topped the Afro-Pop Song chart.
- Street-Hop: Asake dominated as the No. 1 Street-Hop Artiste, with Shallipopi and ODUMODUBLVCK’s “Cast” leading the Street-Hop Song category.
- Gospel: Mercy Chinwo continued her reign, clinching No. 1 Gospel Artiste and Gospel Album with ‘Overwhelming Victory’. Chandler Moore’s “Omemma (Live)” was the top Gospel Song.
- Hip-Hop/Rap: ODUMODUBLVCK ended Olamide’s four-year streak as the No. 1 Hip-Hop/Rap Artiste, while his album ‘EZIOKWU’ also claimed top honours in its category.
International Stars
- No. 1 International Song: “Tshwala Bam (Remix)” by TitoM, Yuppe, Burna Boy, and S.N.E showcased the growing pan-African collaboration in music.
- No. 1 International Artiste: Gunna took the top spot, succeeding Don Toliver from 2023.
- No. 1 International Album: Chris Brown’s 11:11 (Deluxe) secured the title for 2024.

Ayo Maff emerged as the No. 1 Overall Emerging Artiste, signaling a bright future in the Nigerian music industry.
