Kanye "Ye" West is giving his ex-wife a run for her money.
The VULTURES star teased that a women's line for YZY is on the way, giving his ex-wife and the SKIMS founder Kim Kardashian, some competition. He posted a picture on Tuesday, Jan. 21 of one of the designs, a body suit, inspired by his wife, Bianca Censori. The design looks similar to one previously worn by Bianca, which features thin spaghetti straps and a revealing sheer black material.
He wrote in the caption: "Yzy women's coming next SCALING INNOVATION. For anyone in clothing that doesn't work at Yeezy be afraid Be very afraid. No corporations leveraging my platform Using me to get to get to us Overcharging our community while ignoring my vision and direction."
Ye continued: "Stopping the foam runners and Yeezy slides production during COVID only to copy the designs. People tried to tell me to go back to adidas. Of course they were people close enough to ask for money from me. They didn't care about my freedom or vision. Now my vision is coming to life and I have a John Wick vendetta against every fashion company as my fellow Gemini Tupac said Die m—f—-r Die. Now play off the grid."
Kim's SKIMS brand sells bodysuits, undergarments, shapewear, bathing suits, dresses and more. Many took notice on the similarities between the two brands. Some Ye fans believe this drop will be a success, while others believe the drop will fail.
One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: "He’s going to make millions [two fire emojis]." Another person wrote: "Bro thats barely any piece of clothing." A third person wrote: "YZY WOMENS >>>> SKIMS."
Kim launched SKIMS in 2019 and has made a name for herself in the shape-wear world. The brand has since collaborated with fashion brands like Swarovski, Dolce & Gabbana and Fendi. SKIMS also became the official underwear partner of the NBA and the WNBA. The brans also teamed up with Team USA for the Olympics
