Kim Kardashian is continuing to pursue her law degree, which she has been working on since 2018.

On November 21, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star shared an update on her studies by posting a photo of herself studying at her desk on Instagram, captioned simply, “Law school.”

While Kim was focused on her work, her sister Khloe Kardashian commented on a different aspect of the photo, writing, “I love a MILFY lawyer.”

Kim, who shares children North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5, with ex-husband Kanye West, has been open about the challenges of her law school journey. In a post on Instagram Stories from June 4, she admitted, “I can’t deal w all these f–king hearsay exceptions! My least favorite subject in law school.”

Kim first announced her decision to pursue a law degree in 2018 when she began a four-year apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm, specializing in criminal justice reform. In 2021, she proudly shared that she had passed the “baby bar” exam, which marks the completion of the first year of study for those in unaccredited law programs. Kim had previously failed the exam three times before finally passing. Kim celebrated her achievement on Instagram, while she wrote, “For anyone who doesn’t know my law school journey, know this wasn’t easy or handed to me. I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years, but I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!!”

She also reflected on how her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., a renowned lawyer, would  have felt about her pursuit of a legal career. “I know my dad would be so proud and he would actually be so shocked to know that this is my path now, but he would have been my best study partner,” she shared. “I am told he was notorious for making fun of people who didn’t pass on their first attempt like he did, but he would have been my biggest cheerleader!”
