Nigerian singer Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has revealed plans to take a break from music after dropping his upcoming EP.
The singer, celebrated for his smooth vocals and chart-topping hits, shared the news on his X handle.
Kizz Daniel, who has built a solid reputation in the Nigerian music scene since 2016 with his breakout single Woju, announced that he won’t be releasing any new music until 2026 after his next EP, Uncle K, hits the airwaves on November 29, 2024.

“After this I no dey drop anything again until 2026,” he posted on Friday, sparking reactions from fans who are begging him to reconsider. Many have expressed how much they’ll miss his music, calling him the backbone of several playlists.
Known for his consistent delivery of hits like Mama, Buga, and Cough, Kizz Daniel has dropped five successful studio albums and countless singles that have dominated the airwaves.
At 30, the father of twins has proven to be a force to reckon with in Afrobeat, blending his talent with storytelling that resonates across generations.
Fans are now wondering if this sabbatical might be a strategy for a grand comeback or simply a well-deserved rest.
For now, all eyes are on November 29, as they await what might be his last body of work for the next two years.
