Very few artists in Afrobeats’ dazzling history boast of debut years on par with Kizz Daniel’s introduction to the scene in 2014. Marking a decade long run as one of Afrobeats’ premier stars, this year has been one of consolidation. His most recent single, Marhaba which dominated the charts also cemented his record as a forerunner in the Nigerian music industry being the only artist with over 100 million radio airplay impressions on two tracks in one week. He goes a step further with an exciting new collaboration titled Pano tona which sees him tap Adekunle Gold.
Produced by frequent collaborators Philkeys, Blaise Beat, and Reward Beats, Pano tona merges Kizz Daniel’s signature smooth, melodic style with Adekunle Gold’s dynamic Afro-fusion sound.
Kizz Daniel reflects on his recent achievements, saying,
“It’s been a remarkable year for me with the success of the songs I have released thus far celebrating a decade spent in the industry, and it only pushed me to create even more music that fans would love. Pano tona with Adekunle is part of that journey. Pano Tona is a track that celebrates our shared love for Afrobeats”
