Kizz Daniel is hitting the pause button! The Nigerian singer has announced that after the release of his highly anticipated EP, Uncle K, on November 29, 2024, he won’t be dropping any new music until 2026.
“After this, I no dey drop anything again until 2026,” the Buga star tweeted, leaving fans in shock and flooding social media with pleas for him to reconsider.
Since his breakout hit Woju in 2014, Kizz Daniel has been one of Nigeria’s most consistent artists, delivering banger after banger and building a legacy with five successful albums.
Now, after almost a decade of non-stop hits, he’s ready to take a break.
Another reason that might lead to the break could be his recent loss. Kizz Daniel shared a deeply emotional moment, revealing that his wife had recently lost her mother to breast cancer.
“My wife lost her mom to breast cancer, and I’m here mourning with her… Say a prayer for her mom, Vaddicts,” he wrote.
