STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Mark your calendars for Friday, Jan. 17, as Mickey Burns, the iconic host of the “Profiles” television series, celebrates 21 years of captivating audiences with a one-night-only event at Staten Island’s historic St. George Theatre.
The much-anticipated retrospective will honor the award-winning show’s legacy of spotlighting Hollywood legends and cultural icons in over 700 interviews.
Tickets are $39 and are available via Ticketmaster and at the door. The show starts at 8 p.m., and doors open at 7 p.m. The St. George Theatre is located at 35 Hyatt St.
Burns will share heartfelt personal stories from his 21 years of interviewing Hollywood’s biggest stars, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into his journey. ”Staten Island has always been a part of my journey,” said Burns. “I’m honored to share this milestone event with my home community at the St. George Theatre.”
The evening’s highlights include video clips from the “Profiles” archives, like rare footage of showbiz icons like Joan Rivers, Smokey Robinson, Susan Lucci and George Foreman.

STAR-STUDDED LINEUP
The evening’s star-studded lineup includes rising talent Chris Ruggiero, known for his soulful takes on classic hits, and Carl Thomas, celebrated for his tributes to Bobby Darin.
Joining them are Staten Island’s musical legends Al Lambert and Vito Picone, along with the Tunnel to Towers Community Chorus, paying tribute to the spirit of service and community.
This event offers Staten Islanders a chance to relive moments from Mickey’s extraordinary career while showcasing local talent and renowned performers, with live performances by a blend of local and national talent— a true celebration of entertainment and culture.
